About

Built by Alabama. For Alabama.

Led by Alabama-based organizers, fellows, and anchor partners, Reach the 619 is a coordinated, community effort across 18 counties.

This is not a political campaign. We don't promote candidates or parties. We help people understand the issues that shape their lives and make sure they know how to vote.

People are the true heartbeat of every community—pastors, barbers, stylists, teachers, coaches—we're proud to call them partners. Our goal is to provide civic information that's clear and useful. We want to revive interest in voting by showing up consistently, not just once every four years.

What We Stand On

Bold. Grounded. Community-centered.

01

Direct & Plain

We say what we mean. No jargon. No civic-speak. We talk like neighbors because that's what we are.

02

Warm & Rooted

Citizens hold the true power, but elected officials must also be engaged in this work.

03

Honest About Power

We never make the program the hero. The community is the hero. The program just shows up consistently.

Our Promise

The community is the hero.

Every person on our list has registered to vote. They don't need to be lectured on why voting matters. They need to be reminded how much they matter.

619,000 reasons to start now.

Whether you have an hour, a Sunday morning, or a gathering space to share, there's a place for you in this work.
